Polar Light Technologies AB today announced the successful fabrication of its first micro-display prototype built on the company’s proprietary pyramidal micro-LED (µLED). The milestone confirms the technology’s ability to integrate the pyramidal micro-LED frontplane onto a CMOS backplane.
